At the same time, Latvia (+20.8%), Lithuania (+14.3%), Russia (+8.0%), Ukraine (+6.5%) and Poland (+4.1%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Latvia emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of +20.8% from 2012-2021. By contrast, the Czech Republic (-1.3%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of Lithuania, Russia, Latvia and Ukraine increased by +4.6, +2.5, +2.1 and +1.6 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Slovakia ($X) remains the largest dental drill engine supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 73% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the Czech Republic ($X), with an 8.1% share of total exports. It was followed by Lithuania, with a 6.7% share.

In Slovakia, dental drill engine exports plunged by an average annual rate of -1.5% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: the Czech Republic (+5.3% per year) and Lithuania (+13.2% per year).

In 2021, the export price in Eastern Europe amounted to $X per ton, rising by 9% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the export price increased by 12% against the previous year. The level of export peaked in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
