Wooden door imports surged to X units in 2021, picking up by 17% compared with the year before. Total imports indicated a buoyant expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +6.9% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +82.8% against 2012 indices. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 6.9% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2014 to 2021, the import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per unit), while Bulgaria ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
