The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In terms of the main exporting countries, Hungary, with a CAGR of +16.3%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price in Eastern Europe stood at $X per unit in 2021, rising by 2.2% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2021, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.4%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 an increase of 14%. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the peak figure in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per unit), while Ukraine ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 with an increase of 34% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked in 2021 and is likely to see steady growth in years to come.

In value terms, electric radiator imports surged to $X in 2021. Total imports indicated a buoyant increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +6.5% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +117.2% against 2015 indices. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Russia represented the largest importing country with an import of about X units, which finished at 49% of total imports. Poland (X units) took a 13% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Belarus (6.4%), Romania (5.4%), Hungary (5.4%), Ukraine (4.7%) and the Czech Republic (4.6%). Slovakia (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to electric radiator imports into Russia stood at +10.7%. At the same time, Belarus (+20.0%), Poland (+12.7%), Hungary (+11.0%), Slovakia (+10.3%) and Ukraine (+3.3%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Belarus emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of +20.0% from 2012-2021. Romania experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, the Czech Republic (-3.4%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2021, the share of Russia, Poland and Belarus increased by +11, +4.5 and +4 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, Russia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported electric radiators and convection heaters in Eastern Europe, comprising 37% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Poland ($X), with an 18% share of total imports. It was followed by the Czech Republic, with an 8.6% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Russia amounted to +4.2%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Poland (+14.6% per year) and the Czech Republic (+4.8% per year).
