In terms of the main exporting countries, Lithuania, with a CAGR of +70.9%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the export price in Eastern Europe amounted to $X per ton, reducing by -6% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw buoyant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 410% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2019 to 2021, the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($X per ton), while Belarus ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Slovakia (+20.0%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the export price figures.

Imports in Eastern Europe
Organ extracts imports expanded modestly to X tons in 2021, rising by 2.9% compared with 2020 figures. In general, imports saw a resilient expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when imports increased by 143%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2019 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, organ extracts imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate strong growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 146% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

Russia (X tons) and Hungary (X tons) prevails in imports structure, together constituting 81% of total imports. Poland (X tons) took a 7.3% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Belarus (6.2%). Lithuania (X tons) took a minor share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the leading importing countries, was attained by Lithuania (with a CAGR of +154.8%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest organ extracts importing markets in Eastern Europe were Russia ($X), Hungary ($X) and Belarus ($X), together comprising 77% of total imports.
Hungary, with a CAGR of +52.2%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
