In 2021, the export price in Eastern Europe amounted to $X per ton, reducing by -6% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw buoyant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 an increase of 410% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2019 to 2021, the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($X per ton), while Belarus ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Slovakia (+20.0%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the export price figures.

Organ extracts imports expanded modestly to X tons in 2021, rising by 2.9% compared with 2020 figures. In general, imports saw a resilient expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when imports increased by 143%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2019 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, organ extracts imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate strong growth.
