Poland prevails in exports structure, amounting to X tons, which was approx. 83% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Slovakia (X tons), generating a 6.2% share of total exports. The following exporters - Russia (X tons) and the Czech Republic (X tons) - together made up 5.8% of total exports.

In value terms, Poland ($X) remains the largest metal filing cabinet supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 87% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by the Czech Republic ($X), with a 3.6% share of total exports. It was followed by Slovakia, with a 2.8% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Poland totaled +14.8%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: the Czech Republic (+13.5% per year) and Slovakia (+16.3% per year).

Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, metal filing cabinet imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports enjoyed a prominent expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 103% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.
