The volume of export peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, preserved frozen potato exports soared to $X in 2021. Total exports indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.2% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Poland dominates exports structure, reaching X tons, which was approx. 88% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Russia (X tons), committing a 4.6% share of total exports. The Czech Republic (X tons) held a little share of total exports.

Exports from Poland increased at an average annual rate of +3.2% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Russia (+71.8%) and the Czech Republic (+5.0%) displayed positive paces of growth. In value terms, Poland ($X) remains the largest preserved frozen potato supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 86% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Russia ($X), with a 5% share of total exports.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
