In value terms, the Czech Republic ($X) remains the largest fuel or lubricating pump supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 58% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Romania ($X), with an 18% share of total exports. It was followed by Poland, with an 8% share.
In the Czech Republic, fuel or lubricating pump exports remained relatively stable over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Romania (+10.5% per year) and Poland (+7.2% per year).

In 2021, the export price in Eastern Europe amounted to $X per unit, which is down by -51.9% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a abrupt downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 7.5%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2014 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per unit), while Russia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (-1.3%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

In 2021, overseas purchases of fuel, lubricating or cooling-medium pumps for internal combustion engines increased by 19% to X units, rising for the third year in a row after two years of decline. Total imports indicated a buoyant expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +5.6% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +76.9% against 2018 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 33%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when the import price increased by 17%. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2019 to 2021, the import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
