In 2021, the export price in Eastern Europe amounted to $X per unit, surging by 40% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, showed a noticeable downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 66% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2014 to 2021, the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Romania ($X per unit), while Poland ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

In value terms, Russia ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported grinding, sanding and polishing machines in Eastern Europe, comprising 37% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by Poland ($X), with an 18% share of total imports. It was followed by the Czech Republic, with an 11% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Russia stood at -2.4%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Poland (-3.0% per year) and the Czech Republic (+12.2% per year).
