While the share of Poland (+3.1 p.p.), Bulgaria (+2.3 p.p.) and Slovakia (+1.8 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2021, the share of the Czech Republic (-9.1 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the largest horizontal machining centre supplying countries in Eastern Europe were Poland ($X), the Czech Republic ($X) and Bulgaria ($X), together comprising 79% of total exports.

Among the main exporting countries, Bulgaria, with a CAGR of +36.6%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
