In the Czech Republic, hot-rolled free-cutting steel exports expanded at an average annual rate of +6.2% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Poland (-5.5% per year) and Romania (-3.8% per year).

Romania (X tons) and Poland (X tons) represented roughly 81% of total imports in 2021. It was distantly followed by the Czech Republic (X tons), achieving a 14% share of total imports. Slovakia (X tons) took a minor share of total imports.
