The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 42%. The volume of import peaked at X units in 2021, and then reduced sharply in the following year.

The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.5% from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. Russia (X units), Poland (X units) and the Czech Republic (X units) represented roughly 71% of total imports in 2022. It was distantly followed by Ukraine (X units), Romania (X units), Hungary (X units) and Slovakia (X units), together achieving a 21% share of total imports.
