In terms of the main exporting countries, Hungary, with a CAGR of +16.5%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price in Eastern Europe stood at $X per thousand units in 2022, declining by -5% against the previous year. Export price indicated pronounced growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.4% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, solid-liquid separator export price increased by +59.7% against 2016 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the export price increased by 28% against the previous year. In value terms, the largest solid-liquid separator importing markets in Eastern Europe were Russia ($X), Hungary ($X) and the Czech Republic ($X), together comprising 62% of total imports.

Hungary, with a CAGR of +15.5%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the import price in Eastern Europe amounted to $X per thousand units, with an increase of 5.7% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the import price increased by 14% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per thousand units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($X per thousand units), while Belarus ($X per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
