In value terms, lamp plastic parts exports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +1.8% from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
Exports by Country
The biggest shipments were from Hungary (X tons), the Czech Republic (X tons), Slovakia (X tons), Estonia (X tons) and Poland (X tons), together finishing at 89% of total export. It was distantly followed by Belarus (X tons), making up a 5.8% share of total exports. Lithuania (X tons) held a relatively small share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Estonia (with a CAGR of +25.9%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Poland ($X), the Czech Republic ($X) and Hungary ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, with a combined 69% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Slovakia, Estonia, Lithuania and Belarus, which together accounted for a further 26%.
Among the main exporting countries, Lithuania, with a CAGR of +19.0%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
The export price in Eastern Europe stood at $X per ton in 2021, rising by 15% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2021, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.0%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when the export price increased by 17% against the previous year. The level of export peaked in 2021 and is likely to see gradual growth in years to come.
Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per ton), while Belarus ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+8.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, the amount of plastic parts for lamps and lighting fittings imported in Eastern Europe amounted to X tons, with an increase of 5.4% compared with the previous year. Total imports indicated a notable increase from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.9% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports decreased by -18.4% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 13% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

The countries with the highest levels of lamp plastic parts imports in 2021 were Poland (X tons), Estonia (X tons), Russia (X tons) and Romania (X tons), together accounting for 74% of total import. Hungary (X tons) held a 7.7% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by the Czech Republic (5.4%). Slovakia (X tons) took a relatively small share of total imports.

Estonia, with a CAGR of +16.0%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
In 2021, the import price in Eastern Europe amounted to $X per ton, rising by 19% against the previous year. Over the last nine years, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.9%. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Romania ($X per ton), while Estonia ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the Czech Republic (+5.6%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
