Among the main importing countries, Bulgaria, with a CAGR of +16.3%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The import price in Eastern Europe stood at $X per ton in 2021, rising by 21% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, major importing countries recorded the following prices: in Romania ($X per ton) and the Czech Republic ($X per ton), while Lithuania ($X per ton) and Russia ($X per ton) were amongst the lowest.
