The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. In 2022, Belarus (X tons) represented the largest exporter of fiber crops (primary), comprising X% of total exports. Lithuania (X tons) took an X% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Latvia (X%) and Russia (X%). The following exporters - Ukraine (X tons), Romania (X tons) and Hungary (X tons) - together made up X% of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to primary fiber crops exports from Belarus stood at X%. At the same time, Romania (X%), Russia (X%), Latvia (X%), Hungary (X%) and Lithuania (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Romania emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Ukraine (X%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. In 2022, the import price in Eastern Europe amounted to $X per ton, rising by X% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of X%. As a result, import price reached the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Lithuania ($X per ton), while the Czech Republic ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
