The East European pump for liquid market dropped to $X in 2021, with a decrease of -4.8% against the previous year. The total consumption indicated strong growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.1% over the last nine years. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

In value terms, pump for liquid exports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Total exports indicated a buoyant increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.1% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Exports by Country

The Czech Republic (X units) and Hungary (X units) represented roughly 58% of total exports in 2021. Romania (X units) held a 17% share (based on physical terms) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Poland (12%) and Slovakia (5%). The following exporters - Russia (X units) and Belarus (X units) - together made up 5% of total exports.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the key exporting countries, was attained by Romania (with a CAGR of +33.4%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, the Czech Republic ($X) remains the largest pump for liquid supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 40% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Hungary ($X), with a 15% share of total exports. It was followed by Romania, with a 13% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in the Czech Republic amounted to +4.1%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Hungary (+2.4% per year) and Romania (+14.6% per year).

Export Prices by Country

The export price in Eastern Europe stood at $X per unit in 2021, with a decrease of -7.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a drastic downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 an increase of 10% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2014 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per unit), while Hungary ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Russia (+4.0%), while the other leaders experienced a decline in the export price figures.

Imports in Eastern Europe

In 2021, imports of pumps for liquids and liquid elevators in Eastern Europe skyrocketed to X units, growing by 16% on the previous year's figure. In general, imports enjoyed a buoyant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 50%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, pump for liquid imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +2.7% from 2012 to 2021; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when the import price increased by 5.9% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per unit), while Ukraine ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
