The import price in Eastern Europe stood at $X per ton in 2022, waning by -20.7% against the previous year. Import price indicated a perceptible expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +3.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 an increase of 36%. The level of import peaked at $X per ton in 2021, and then dropped rapidly in the following year.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($X per ton), while Bulgaria ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
