In value terms, Poland ($X) remains the largest self-propelled railway coach supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 55% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Belarus ($X), with a 20% share of total exports. It was followed by the Czech Republic, with a 15% share.

In Poland, self-propelled railway coach exports increased at an average annual rate of +12.7% over the period from 2012-2021. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Belarus (+47.2% per year) and the Czech Republic (-3.3% per year).

Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 35%. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, self-propelled railway coach imports rose rapidly to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, recorded a deep slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 with an increase of 38% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 30%.
