Production By Country in Eastern Europe
The Czech Republic (X tons) constituted the country with the largest volume of sheet piling production, comprising approx. X% of total volume. Moreover, sheet piling production in the Czech Republic exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest producer, Poland (X tons), twofold.

Sheet piling exports declined slightly to X tons in 2020, which is down by -X% compared with the previous year. Total exports indicated a pronounced increase from 2007 to 2020: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +X% over the last thirteen years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2020 figures, exports decreased by -X% against 2017 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2010 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at X tons in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2020, the exports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, sheet piling exports shrank modestly to $X in 2020. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +X% from 2007 to 2020; however, the trend pattern indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded in certain years. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2010 when exports increased by X% against the previous year. The Czech Republic was the major exporter of sheet piling in Eastern Europe, with the volume of exports recording X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2020. Poland (X tons) occupied a X% share (based on tons) of total exports, which put it in second place, followed by Ukraine (X%). Lithuania (X tons) occupied a relatively small share of total exports.
From 2007 to 2020, average annual rates of growth with regard to sheet piling exports from the Czech Republic stood at +X%. At the same time, Lithuania (+X%) and Poland (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Lithuania emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2020. Ukraine experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. The sheet piling export price in Eastern Europe stood at $X per ton in 2020, with an increase of X% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a slight reduction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2008 when the export price increased by X% year-to-year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2009 to 2020, the the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2009 with an increase of X% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked at X tons in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2020, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, sheet piling imports reduced rapidly to $X in 2020. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a abrupt decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2010 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. The level of import peaked at $X in 2011; however, from 2012 to 2020, imports failed to regain momentum.
Imports by Country
Russia was the key importing country with an import of around X tons, which resulted at X% of total imports. Lithuania (X tons) ranks second in terms of the total imports with a X% share, followed by Ukraine (X%), Poland (X%), Slovakia (X%) and the Czech Republic (X%). Belarus (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

At the same time, Slovakia (+X%), the Czech Republic (+X%), Ukraine (+X%) and Lithuania (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Slovakia emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of +X% from 2007-2020. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, the largest sheet piling importing markets in Eastern Europe were Russia ($X), Lithuania ($X) and Ukraine ($X), with a combined X% share of total imports. These countries were followed by Poland, Slovakia, Belarus and the Czech Republic, which together accounted for a further X, with a CAGR of +X%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
In 2020, the sheet piling import price in Eastern Europe amounted to $X per ton, approximately equating the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2008 an increase of X% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per ton.
