Latvia (X units), Slovakia (X units) and Lithuania (X units) took a minor share of total exports.

Exports from the Czech Republic increased at an average annual rate of +12.0% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Hungary (+56.5%), Poland (+15.1%), Estonia (+14.1%), Slovakia (+12.0%), Lithuania (+11.0%) and Latvia (+7.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Hungary emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Eastern Europe, with a CAGR of +56.5% from 2012-2021. From 2012 to 2021, the share of Hungary increased by +5.6 percentage points. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.

In value terms, the Czech Republic ($X) remains the largest wood slicing machine supplier in Eastern Europe, comprising 48% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Slovakia ($X), with a 10% share of total exports. It was followed by Latvia, with a 9.7% share.

In the Czech Republic, wood slicing machine exports expanded at an average annual rate of +20.5% over the period from 2012-2021. The remaining exporting countries recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Slovakia (+7.2% per year) and Latvia (+11.3% per year).

Total imports indicated buoyant growth from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +8.6% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. As a result, imports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
