The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 with an increase of 32%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are likely to see steady growth in the near future.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 134% against the previous year. The import price in Eastern Europe stood at $X per ton in 2021, jumping by 16% against the previous year. Overall, the import price showed a moderate expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when the import price increased by 76%. The level of import peaked at $X per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, import prices failed to regain momentum.
