At the same time, Hungary (+19.6%) displayed positive paces of growth. The Czech Republic experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. For the third year in a row, Eastern Europe recorded decline in supplies from abroad of teleferics, chair-lifts, ski-draglines and traction mechanisms for funiculars, which decreased by -11.2% to X units in 2022. In general, imports recorded a deep contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 when imports increased by 82% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
