In value terms, truck and bus tyre exports stood at $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, continue to indicate a modest expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 27% against the previous year. In 2022, Slovakia (X units), distantly followed by Poland (X units), the Czech Republic (X units), Romania (X units), Russia (X units) and Hungary (X units) were the main exporters of tyres for buses or lorries, together committing 96% of total exports. Belarus (X units) took a relatively small share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Slovakia (with a CAGR of +7.2%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Slovakia ($X), Poland ($X) and the Czech Republic ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, together accounting for 66% of total exports. Romania, Russia, Hungary and Belarus lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 31%.

The export price in Eastern Europe stood at $X per unit in 2022, surging by 5.9% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, showed a slight decrease. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when the export price increased by 13%. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the peak figure at $X per unit in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per unit), while Romania ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when imports increased by 42% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X units. From 2017 to 2022, the growth of imports failed to regain momentum.
