In value terms, Poland ($X) constitutes the largest market for imported wrapping paper, packaging paper and paperboard in Eastern Europe, comprising 43% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by the Czech Republic ($X), with a 15% share of total imports. It was followed by Hungary, with an 8.2% share.

From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of value in Poland stood at +9.4%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: the Czech Republic (+3.8% per year) and Hungary (+4.7% per year).
