In 2022, Cote d'Ivoire (X tons) represented the largest importer of citrus fruits, achieving X% of total imports. Burkina Faso (X tons) held a X% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Senegal (X%), Nigeria (X%), Mali (X%) and Cabo Verde (X%). Ghana (X tons) held a relatively small share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to citrus fruit imports into Cote d'Ivoire stood at X%. At the same time, Nigeria (X%), Mali (X%), Burkina Faso (X%), Ghana (X%), Senegal (X%) and Cabo Verde (X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Nigeria emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in ECOWAS, with a CAGR of X% from 2012-2022.
