The shipments of the one major exporters of coal, namely Nigeria, represented more than two-thirds of total export.

Imports by Country

Senegal was the major importing country with an import of around X tons, which finished at X% of total imports. Togo (X tons) took a X% share (based on physical terms) of total imports, which put it in second place, followed by Benin (X%) and Nigeria (X%). Mali (X tons), Ghana (X tons) and Niger (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

Imports into Senegal increased at an average annual rate of X% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Niger (X%), Nigeria (X%), Benin (X%) and Togo (X%) displayed positive paces of growth.
