Burkina Faso prevails in juice structure, finishing at X tons, which was approx. 86% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Cote d'Ivoire (X tons), making up a 7.2% share of total exports. The following exporters - Nigeria (X tons) and Togo (X tons) - each recorded a 4.2% share of total exports.

Burkina Faso was also the fastest-growing in terms of the concentrated lemon and other citrus fruit juice exports, with a CAGR of +44.5% from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, Cote d'Ivoire (+24.3%), Togo (+23.1%) and Nigeria (+20.1%) displayed positive paces of growth. From 2012 to 2021, the share of Burkina Faso increased by +39 percentage points.

Ghana (+5.5 p.p.), Cote d'Ivoire (+5.3 p.p.), Mali (+4.1 p.p.) and Burkina Faso (+2.3 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Senegal saw its share reduced by -17.7% from 2012 to 2021, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
