Exports by Country
Nigeria (X tons) represented roughly 99.9% of total exports in 2021.
Nigeria was also the fastest-growing in terms of the parts of boilers for central heating exports, with a CAGR of +39.0% from 2012 to 2021. While the share of Nigeria (+16 p.p.) increased significantly, the shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
In value terms, Nigeria ($X) also remains the largest boiler parts supplier in ECOWAS.
In Nigeria, boiler parts exports expanded at an average annual rate of +20.0% over the period from 2012-2021.
Export Prices by Country
The export price in ECOWAS stood at $X per ton in 2021, surging by 249% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a abrupt decrease. Over the period under review, the export prices reached the peak figure at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Nigeria.

Imports in ECOWAS
In 2021, the amount of parts of boilers for central heating imported in ECOWAS soared to X tons, growing by 48% against the year before. Overall, imports continue to indicate a buoyant expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 8,232%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, boiler parts imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate buoyant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 4,579% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Imports by Country
In 2021, Nigeria (X tons), distantly followed by Ghana (X tons), Senegal (X tons) and Cote d'Ivoire (X tons) were the key importers of parts of boilers for central heating, together creating 90% of total imports. Togo (X tons), Mali (X tons) and Burkina Faso (X tons) held a little share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Senegal (with a CAGR of +66.4%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest boiler parts importing markets in ECOWAS were Senegal ($X), Nigeria ($X) and Cote d'Ivoire ($X), together accounting for 70% of total imports.
In terms of the main importing countries, Senegal, with a CAGR of +63.6%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
The import price in ECOWAS stood at $X per ton in 2021, shrinking by -5.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price saw a slight slump. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the import price increased by 25% against the previous year. The level of import peaked at $X per ton in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was Cote d'Ivoire ($X per ton), while Nigeria ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Togo (+6.5%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the import price figures.
