In 2022, the export price in ECOWAS amounted to $X per cubic meter, shrinking by X% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a pronounced contraction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 when the export price increased by X%. After three years of growth, overseas purchases of sawnwood decreased by X% to X cubic meters in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, enjoyed a strong increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by X%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X cubic meters in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.

In 2022, Senegal (X cubic meters) represented the main importer of sawnwood, committing X% of total imports.
