The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of 59% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2014 to 2022, the growth of the exports of failed to regain momentum.

Exports by Country

Cote d'Ivoire was the key exporting country with an export of around X tons, which accounted for 73% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Nigeria (X tons), committing a 24% share of total exports. Ghana (X tons) held a minor share of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, average annual rates of growth with regard to shampoo, hair lacquer and other preparations exports from Cote d'Ivoire stood at -3.4%. Ghana (X tons) and Senegal (X tons) represented the key importers of shampoos, hair lacquers and other preparations in 2022, finishing at near 32% and 22% of total imports, respectively. It was distantly followed by Nigeria (X tons), Cote d'Ivoire (X tons), Cabo Verde (X tons), Mali (X tons), Guinea (X tons) and Sierra Leone (X tons), together achieving a 33% share of total imports.
