In 2022, imports of anise, badian, fennel and coriander into Egypt reduced remarkably to X tons, which is down by -56.2% on the year before. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a deep downturn. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by 695% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
