In value terms, composite laboratory reagents imports plummeted to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a temperate increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 29%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2021, and then shrank dramatically in the following year.

Germany (X tons), China (X tons) and Sweden (X tons) were the main suppliers of composite laboratory reagents imports to Egypt, together comprising 37% of total imports.
