China (X units), Germany (X units) and the United States (X units) were the main suppliers of crane imports to Egypt, with a combined 59% share of total imports. Japan, Italy, France, Thailand, Turkey, India, Austria, the UK and the United Arab Emirates lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 33%.

The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 34%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per unit, and then declined rapidly in the following year.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Thailand ($X per unit), while the price for France ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
