Yemen, Kenya, the United Arab Emirates, Sudan, Turkey, Morocco, Algeria, Spain, Jordan and Georgia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 44%.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Kenya (with a CAGR of +240.7%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Morocco ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to the United Arab Emirates ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Turkey (+18.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2021, supplies from abroad of household washing and drying machines was finally on the rise to reach X tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a two-year declining trend.
