Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X square meters in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, photographic film imports shrank modestly to $X in 2021. Overall, imports continue to indicate a abrupt setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 with an increase of 11%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Germany (X square meters), China (X square meters) and Japan (X square meters) were the main suppliers of photographic film imports to Egypt, with a combined 51% share of total imports.
