The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 when the average export price increased by 175% against the previous year. Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Tunisia ($X per square meter), while the average price for exports to the United Arab Emirates ($X per square meter) was amongst the lowest.

In value terms, safety glass imports surged to $X in 2022. In general, imports recorded a resilient increase. Taiwan (Chinese), with a CAGR of +164.7%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average safety glass import price stood at $X per square meter in 2021, rising by 37% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a noticeable contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 246%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per square meter. From 2014 to 2021, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
