Italy (X tons), Germany (X tons) and South Korea (X tons) were the main suppliers of synthetic rubber imports to Egypt, with a combined 39% share of total imports. These countries were followed by Saudi Arabia, Russia, China, Belgium, the United States, the UK, Vietnam, the Netherlands, India and Taiwan (Chinese), which together accounted for a further 57%.

From 2017 to 2021, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
