The Egyptian market for television, video and digital cameras reduced remarkably to $X in 2022, which is down by -16.4% against the previous year. This figure reflects the total revenues of producers and importers (excluding logistics costs, retail marketing costs, and retailers' margins, which will be included in the final consumer price). Over the period under review, consumption, however, recorded prominent growth. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a strong expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2021 with an increase of 92%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, television, video and digital camera imports declined dramatically to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, enjoyed a resilient increase.
