The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 2,889%. The exports peaked at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
Exports by Country
Palestine (X tons) was the main destination for turkey meat exports from Egypt, with a 89% share of total exports. Moreover, turkey meat exports to Palestine exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Sierra Leone (X tons), more than tenfold. Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 3.1% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Palestine amounted to +2,111.6%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Sierra Leone (+26.3% per year) and Taiwan (Chinese) (0.0% per year).

The average turkey meat export price stood at $X per ton in 2022, shrinking by -11.8% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, posted measured growth.
