Finland (X units) was the main destination for non-electric air heater exports from Estonia, accounting for a 82% share of total exports. Moreover, non-electric air heater exports to Finland exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Russia (X units), ninefold. The UK (X units) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 2.6% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value to Finland amounted to +39.3%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: the UK (+697.9% per year) and Russia (-22.0% per year).

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Lithuania (+1.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Imports into Estonia
In 2022, imports of non-electric air heaters or hot air distributors into Estonia shrank sharply to X units, which is down by -19.5% on 2021. Overall, imports recorded a deep slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 with an increase of 45%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at X units in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, non-electric air heater imports reduced notably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports showed a noticeable decline. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 with an increase of 58%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
Imports by Country
Norway (X units), China (X units) and Lithuania (X units) were the main suppliers of non-electric air heater imports to Estonia, together comprising 39% of total imports. Italy, Russia, South Korea, Germany, Latvia, Poland, Finland, Denmark, Sweden and the Czech Republic lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 56%.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Russia (with a CAGR of +16.1%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average non-electric air heater import price stood at $X per unit in 2022, with a decrease of -23.1% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, posted buoyant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2019 when the average import price increased by 76% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $X per unit in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per unit), while the price for Norway ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
