In value terms, graphite non-electrical articles exports shrank slightly to $X in 2022. In general, exports enjoyed strong growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 600%. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Latvia (X tons) was the main destination for graphite non-electrical articles exports from Estonia, with a 58% share of total exports. Moreover, graphite non-electrical articles exports to Latvia exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Lithuania (X tons), threefold. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a abrupt shrinkage. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 238%. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, graphite non-electrical articles imports dropped to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by 124%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

Imports by Country

Russia (X tons), Germany (X tons) and Hungary (X tons) were the main suppliers of graphite non-electrical articles imports to Estonia, together comprising 57% of total imports.
