In value terms, plastic reservoir exports reduced to $X in 2022. Overall, exports showed a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 with an increase of 25% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.

Sweden (X tons) was the main destination for plastic reservoir exports from Estonia, accounting for a 49% share of total exports. Moreover, plastic reservoir exports to Sweden exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Finland (X tons), twofold. The third position in this ranking was taken by Latvia (X tons), with a 16% share.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 58%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

In value terms, plastic reservoir imports reached $X in 2022. Overall, imports saw buoyant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 when imports increased by 38%. Imports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

Germany (X tons), Italy (X tons) and Poland (X tons) were the main suppliers of plastic reservoir imports to Estonia, with a combined 54% share of total imports.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the main suppliers, was attained by Italy (with a CAGR of +65.9%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
