Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for the Czech Republic (with a CAGR of +15.9%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Italy ($X), the Netherlands ($X) and Poland ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, with a combined 61% share of total exports. The Czech Republic, Germany, Austria and France lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 21%.
In terms of the main exporting countries, the Czech Republic, with a CAGR of +11.6%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
The export price in the European Union stood at $X per unit in 2022, surging by 2.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the export price increased by 8.9% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per unit), while the Czech Republic ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Poland (+2.5%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, overseas purchases of non-electric air heaters or hot air distributors increased by 0.3% to X units, rising for the second year in a row after two years of decline. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +1.1% from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 24% against the previous year. The volume of import peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in years to come.
In value terms, non-electric air heater imports reduced slightly to $X in 2022. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +1.2% from 2012 to 2022; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with only minor fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 23%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then contracted slightly in the following year.
Imports by Country
The purchases of the four major importers of non-electric air heaters or hot air distributors, namely Poland, the Netherlands, Germany and France, represented more than half of total import. Italy (X units) ranks next in terms of the total imports with a 5.5% share, followed by the Czech Republic (4.7%). Ireland (X units), Austria (X units), Belgium (X units), Slovakia (X units), Romania (X units), Spain (X units) and Hungary (X units) followed a long way behind the leaders.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of purchases, amongst the leading importing countries, was attained by Ireland (with a CAGR of +18.3%), while imports for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest non-electric air heater importing markets in the European Union were the Netherlands ($X), Poland ($X) and Germany ($X), with a combined 44% share of total imports. France, the Czech Republic, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Romania, Spain, Hungary, Ireland and Slovakia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 40%.
Italy, with a CAGR of +13.4%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
The import price in the European Union stood at $X per unit in 2022, reducing by -2.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when the import price increased by 9.9%. Over the period under review, import prices hit record highs at $X per unit in 2021, and then shrank modestly in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($X per unit), while Ireland ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Spain (+4.3%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
