Over the period under review, the export prices attained the peak figure in 2022 and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($X per ton), while the Netherlands ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

The purchases of the three major importers of articles and equipment for table-tennis, namely France, Spain and Germany, represented more than third of total import. In value terms, the largest table-tennis equipment importing markets in the European Union were Germany ($X), France ($X) and Spain ($X), together accounting for 51% of total imports. Poland, the Czech Republic, Italy, Portugal, Sweden, Austria, Belgium, the Netherlands, Romania and Hungary lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 37%.

The Czech Republic, with a CAGR of +14.9%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, among the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the import price in the European Union amounted to $X per ton, with an increase of 27% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. As a result, import price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
