In value terms, Belgium ($X), the Czech Republic ($X) and Germany ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, with a combined 45% share of total exports. Italy, Lithuania, Finland, Hungary, Austria, Poland, the Netherlands, France, Ireland and Slovenia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 51%.
Hungary, with a CAGR of +35.8%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the export price in the European Union amounted to $X per ton, reducing by -1.6% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.2%. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when the export price increased by 7.8% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton, and then reduced slightly in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Austria ($X per ton), while the Czech Republic ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per ton, and then contracted modestly in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Austria ($X per ton), while Denmark ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
