Finland, with a CAGR of +67.8%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, in terms of the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price in the European Union stood at $X per unit in 2021, with an increase of 37% against the previous year. In general, the export price saw a buoyant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when the export price increased by 63% against the previous year. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Slovenia ($X per unit), while the Netherlands ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Slovenia (+45.9%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Italy ($X), Germany ($X) and Spain ($X) appeared to be the countries with the highest levels of imports in 2021, with a combined 50% share of total imports.
In terms of the main importing countries, Spain, with a CAGR of +32.8%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
In 2021, the import price in the European Union amounted to $X per unit, shrinking by -19.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price recorded a pronounced reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 108% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per unit. From 2014 to 2021, the import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Italy ($X per unit), while the Netherlands ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Bulgaria (+17.2%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
