As a result, imports attained the peak of X units. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, breathing appliances imports amounted to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a resilient increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 when imports increased by 63% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. Spain (+3.3 p.p.), Poland (+2 p.p.), Latvia (+1.7 p.p.) and the Czech Republic (+1.5 p.p.) significantly strengthened its position in terms of the total imports, while Germany and France saw its share reduced by -1.7% and -6.2% from 2012 to 2022, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
