All these countries together held approx. 19% share of total exports. Germany (X tons), Portugal (X tons) and Poland (X tons) followed a long way behind the leaders.

From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to calcined and sintered dolomite exports from Belgium stood at -8.1%. At the same time, Portugal (+22.1%), Italy (+10.0%), Spain (+8.3%) and Poland (+4.2%) displayed positive paces of growth. From 2015 to 2021, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, calcined and sintered dolomite imports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed a slight contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when imports increased by 28% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X.
