The volume of import peaked at X units in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Total imports indicated a modest expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +1.1% over the last decade. The purchases of the three major importers of concrete-mixer lorries, namely France, Romania and Germany, represented more than third of total import. Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the import price increased by 60%. Over the period under review, import prices reached the maximum at $X per unit in 2021, and then shrank in the following year.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major importing countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the Czech Republic ($X per unit), while Italy ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
