Exports by Country
In 2021, Germany (X units) and Italy (X units) were the largest exporters of concrete or mortar mixers in the European Union, together finishing at near 58% of total exports. It was distantly followed by Portugal (X units), creating a 10% share of total exports. The following exporters - Poland (X units), Slovenia (X units), Spain (X units), the Netherlands (X units), Austria (X units), Denmark (X units), Croatia (X units), France (X units) and Belgium (X units) - together made up 26% of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for the Netherlands (with a CAGR of +13.7%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Germany ($X), Italy ($X) and Portugal ($X) constituted the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2021, with a combined 68% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Austria, Denmark, the Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Slovenia, Belgium, France and Croatia, which together accounted for a further 26%.
In terms of the main exporting countries, Denmark, with a CAGR of +10.3%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Export Prices by Country
The export price in the European Union stood at $X per unit in 2021, increasing by 4.8% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The level of export peaked at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major exporting countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Denmark ($X per unit), while Croatia ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Belgium (+6.6%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports in the EU
In 2021, approx. X units of concrete or mortar mixers were imported in the European Union; jumping by 15% against 2020 figures. Total imports indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +6.0% over the last nine years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +104.5% against 2013 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 27%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, concrete mixer imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Total imports indicated a resilient increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.9% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +101.8% against 2015 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 when imports increased by 26% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

In 2021, France (X units), Romania (X units) and Germany (X units) represented the major importer of concrete or mortar mixers in the European Union, comprising 43% of total import. Austria (X units) ranks next in terms of the total imports with a 6.3% share, followed by Poland (5.9%), Hungary (5.3%), Italy (5.1%), Spain (5%) and the Netherlands (4.7%). The following importers - Belgium (X units), Denmark (X units), the Czech Republic (X units) and Bulgaria (X units) - together made up 13% of total imports.

Hungary, with a CAGR of +17.6%, recorded the highest growth rate of the value of imports, in terms of the main importing countries over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
Import Prices by Country
In 2021, the import price in the European Union amounted to $X per unit, with an increase of 8.7% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The level of import peaked at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was Belgium ($X per unit), while Romania ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
